Naperville’s Holiday Tradition Returns to the Riverwalk!

Naperville Sunrise Rotary’s NaperLights holiday display will once again make the season shine along Water Street and the south side of the Riverwalk. Featuring more than 250,000 lights, the display transforms downtown into a glowing winter wonderland filled with music, color, and holiday spirit.

Visitors can enter from the Webster Street covered bridge or Main Street and explore a walkable outdoor experience that’s perfect for families, date nights, and holiday get-togethers. Stroll beneath the dazzling rainbow arch over Foyo Plaza, snap photos with the Giant Teddy Bear and glowing Santa Throne, and enjoy new illuminated penguin photo displays.

Lights on the trees and plaza are synced to festive music each evening from 4 to 10 PM, creating a magical experience for both pedestrians and those who prefer a drive-through view from the comfort of their cars.

This annual gift to the community — sponsored by the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise — includes animated skating polar bears, snowmen, carolers, and sparkling trees. On Sunday, December 8, Santa and his elf will visit from 4–7 PM to greet families, hand out holographic glasses, and share free cookies and cocoa (while supplies last).

The event is made possible by Marquette Companies, Ryan Hill Group, Busey Bank, Naperville Bank & Trust, Gerald Cares, and a grant from the City of Naperville SECA Fund.

Admission is free, but donations to the Naperville Sunrise Rotary support local and international charitable initiatives helping families in need.
